Flashing steps

  1. Install the MTK drivers if not already install
  2. Download > extract and launch the SP Flash Tool
  3. Download and extract the Mobicel_TrendyMTK_ROOT_Files.rar
  4. Download the scatter file and move to the “Mobicel_TrendyMTK_ROOT_Files” folder (for Wiko K-Kool and Blu Dash M2, use their respective scatter files or you will get a PMT error with the included Trendy scatter)
  5. Rename  cwm to recovery
  6. Load the scatter inside the Mobicel_TrendyMTK_ROOT_Files on the SP Flash Tool
  7. Only the ‘Recovery’ row will have data on the SP Flash Tool – tick that if not already ticked
  8. Click Download to flash
  9. Remove and replace the battery > connect the device via its USB cable
  10. You soon get Download OK
  11. Disconnect and power up
  12. Copy the two .zip files and two apks to the internal memory of the phone
  13. Boot into recovery (CWM)
  14. Choose to install a zip – install both the .zip files
  15. Reboot into system – install the two apks
  16. Run root checker to verify root
  17. Report any issue here:

You will need to place onto the SD card or internal memory and install it via the newly installed TWRP recovery to force-root via the systemless root method.
